For my senior capstone class at the University of Kansas, our class was tasked with designing a strategic marketing campaign for the North Topeka Arts and Entertainment District (NOTO).
My team, Capital Creative, and I crafted a campaign titled “Noteworthy in NOTO” that targeted millennials to give NOTO a brand personality and ultimately drive new traffic to the area.
We recommended a complete social media overhaul that includes a video campaign in which NOTO business owners described why they thought NOTO was noteworthy.
We also recommended a passport program, similar to other local arts and entertainment districts, to bring more people into the district and inspire them to try new restaurants, stores and galleries.
